was an extremely sharp deflationary depression -- Ben Bernanke's alleged "nightmare scenario."

So what did The Fed and government do? 

The government balanced the budget and The Fed raised rates!

What happened?

The excesses in the economy cleared, the depression ended and within 12 months a full recovery had occurred including a return to full employment!
