En anden interessant, teknisk detalje er, at hvis flyet kun fløj 1,4 miles på 17 sekunder i tyrkisk luftrum som tyrkerne påstår, så ville det stall'e og falde til jorden som en sten - i Tyrkiet. Det ville ikke kunne drift'e over 4 kilometer ind i syrisk luftrum.
